The MYC Family is made up of all ages from infant to grandparents. Campers are divided by gender and grade into cabin groups and accompanied by two counselors. Campers spend most of their time with campers from their cabin group, staying in the same cabin, sharing the same counselors, and attending classes, counseling sessions, and meals together. Kids entering grades 4 and above in the Fall are housed in cabin groups.
Parents with children, who are in third grade or younger, share a cabin with other parents and young children: men with kids share a cabin with other dads and kids, and women with kids share a cabin with other moms and kids. Those attending without young children share a cabin with other adults and are divided by gender. Cabin clusters for males and for females are typically situated in different areas of the campsite.
